What is Intrinsics

Intrinsics is a free stock analysis tool that breaks down any US-listed company's financial health into simple, color-coded grades. No jargon, no paywall, no login required. Just search a ticker and get an instant read on whether the fundamentals are strong, shaky, or somewhere in between.

How it works

Every stock is evaluated across 6 key financial ratios, each graded against sector-specific benchmarks. A tech company is measured against tech peers, not utilities. The result is a clear, honest snapshot of financial health.

• Current Ratio — Can the company pay its short-term bills?
• Debt to Equity — How much does it rely on borrowed money?
• Asset Turnover — How efficiently does it use what it owns?
• Operating Margin — How profitable is the core business?
• P/E Ratio — Are investors paying a fair price?
• Revenue Growth — Is the top line growing or shrinking?

Why I built this

I'm Altorien Lockwood — FP&A Analyst and CPA candidate. I built Intrinsics because I wanted a tool that could give anyone, regardless of their finance background, a quick and honest look at a company's financial health. The kind of analysis that used to require a Bloomberg terminal or an accounting degree should be accessible to everyone.
